Who I Am
I am a magazine editor by profession. My passions are fiction (writing and reading it), magazines, online magazines, Web video and podcasts, cycling, mountain biking, canyoneering, climbing and outdoor adventures of all kinds. The more adrenaline and endorphins it sends surging through my body, the better.
I try to lead life with minimal negative impact as possible, spiritually and environmentally—and try to improve things. I have lots of room to improve. In the near future, I’ll be blogging about my efforts to cut my annual carbon emissions to under six tons per year, a challenging task indeed.
Last September, having been cycling for about five years, I began working with a cycling coach for the first time ever. I’m determined to hit that 5-hour century mark. And, it’s done tons for my 12-hour and 24-hour mountain bike racing. Go to my “Action Adventure” page for more. You’ll find some recent published outdoor adventures there.
